Frequently Asked Questions: Pricing & Buying

How much do your sculptures cost?
Tough question, but necessary. For commissioned work, please refer to Commissions. As for gallery shows, prices are set by the gallery. These are based on my last shows prices, consultation with me, and what the gallery feels the new work is worth.

When I sell a piece directly to a client, I consider many of the same things a gallery does. However, it helps if you are my mom, or are really cute. Actually, I am happily married, but Mom does get a great discount.

It is important for interested buyers to know that they are getting a one-of-a-kind sculpture (not part of a series like some prints or photos, e.g. #3 of 10). Therefore the potential investment value is far greater.

To sum up, at recent exhibitions I've sold pieces that ranged from $1,100 to $18,000.

Is financing available?
Call my mom :)

Can I rent a sculpture or series of sculptures for private events?
Yes. I am currently working with interior designers on using my work for parties and promotional events.

When will I receive my piece after I purchase it?
If the piece is part of an exhibition, it will be delivered at your convenience within two weeks of the last scheduled day of the exhibition. The time frame for commissions will be determined on an individual basis, before I begin fabrication.

I don't live in the New York area? How will I receive my sculpture?
Your piece will be shipped to you in a specifically constructed container. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I am also available to install the piece professionally, however, travel cost will incur. If you live within a reasonable distance of New York City or travel can be conveniently be arranged around my schedule, delivery and installation is free.
